Cancellation Policy
A deposit may be required to secure a booking, at the sole discretion of Paint Me Magic.
If a deposit is required, payment must be made within 24 hours of accepting the booking request to confirm your reservation. Failure to submit the deposit within the specified timeframe will result in the release of the hold on your selected date and time.

Please note that the deposit is non-refundable in the event of a cancellation due to a change of mind. For outdoor events, it is advisable to have a backup location in case of inclement weather, as no refunds will be issued for weather-related cancellations.
We will make every effort to accommodate the rescheduling of your booking, if necessary.
Cancelations within 24 hours of event will require the full amount to be paid, unless discussed otherwise with Paint Me Magic. ​

The deposit will be refunded if the artist is unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances.
​
For larger bookings (4 hours or more), a 7-day cancellation period applies.
If cancellation occurs within 7 days of the event date, the full booking fee will be required to be paid in full, unless otherwise discussed and confirmed in writing with Paint Me Magic.
Payment
Full payment due on the day of event or unless stated otherwise, or as on invoice.
Overdue payments may incur a fee.
Site & Set Up
Artists require shade for all bookings and will not work in direct sunlight.
A designated parking space close to the event is prefered for safe and efficient unloading of equipment and materials. Any applicable parking fees will be charged to the client.
The ground must be relatively even to ensure proper setup of equipment and seating, free from loose materials such as sand, rocks, or debris.

We are unable to work in excessively windy conditions, and glitter cannot be used in such weather.
If shade is unavailable or in the event of rain, the artist can provide a 3m x 3m gazebo for a $30 fee. The gazebo fee also includes wall protection for added coverage from the sun, heat, rain, and wind, ensuring peace of mind during your event.

For indoor events, please ensure there is a 2m x 2m space available to accommodate a table and chairs, which will be supplied by the artist.

The artist is unable to work in adverse weather conditions, including sun, rain, or wind, without adequate cover. In the event of inclement weather and the absence of a suitable backup space, the artist will be unable to complete the job.
Please note that the full fee will still be charged under these circumstances.

Our services prioritize hygiene, safety, and client well-being. We adhere to strict guidelines to ensure a safe experience including:​

Client Safety:

We will not paint on open wounds, rashes, sunburned, or windburned skin.

We will not paint sensitive areas like the eyes, or provide services on individuals with infections (e.g., conjunctivitis, lice).

Client's skin must be clean and free from scratches.
Hygiene & Equipment:​

We clean and sanitize brushes, sponges, and applicators after each use.

We use single-use containers for liquids, creams, and pigments.

We use disposable applicators where necessary.

It is not recommended to paint children under the age of 3 years old. Please consult with artist if there is a risk for allergies or sensitivities and we can do a patch test. ​
We are committed to providing a safe, clean, and enjoyable experience for all our clients.
Photos & Socials
Photos and videos of the artist are welcome and may be shared on any platforms, with a mention of Paint Me Magic greatly appreciated.

The artist may also take photos and videos for use on social media and marketing purposes. By booking with Paint Me Magic, you consent to the sharing of these images on social media platforms. Consent will be sought from both children and adults where applicable. If you wish to have any content removed, please contact us directly.

If you prefer not to have photos or videos shared on social media, please feel free to reach out to us, and we will respect your wishes.

Please Note: By confirming a booking with Paint Me Magic, whether verbal, in writing, or via electronic communication, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to the above terms and conditions.
